by Planning ahead. Usually for us this takes the form of stuffing our luggage the night before and packing the bikes on the day…leaving the rest to chance. It has always worked well for us, but to get the most out of our Crossing Africa trip, we started early. With more than three months ’til departure, we’re busy setting up the blog (which we’ll keep updated as we ride) and sorting out our bikes… more about that later.
We are also busy preparing proposals for equipment sponsors, as we’re on a bit of a tight budget.
